SUNDAY, MAY 9th
Jerry has had a good week since his visit home, but is feeling gradually more tired and is up to less activity each day. We’ve been told that sometimes vibrant people like Jerry can have an upsurge in activity that was not anticipated, and considering Jerry’s creative nature, taking “one more bite” out of life is just like him. Jerry always has been the kind of guy who does things on his own terms and in his own time. Jerry is still able to enjoy his visits with Sue, and Lucas and Alyse, and although he’s eating less, he is still eating whatever he wants whenever he wants it. Most of the time now he is sleeping comfortably, and the staff are ensuring he remains pain-free, comfortable, and content. We all are keeping open minds, and Jerry is leading the way. I will post more as we know more.
Thinking of you all and wishing you the best,

Jerry, Your friend Bobbi was playing at Serious Coffee on Commercial St. last night. She sang this song for you.
Keep Smiling, we’re thinking of you.

To my friend,
Music that gentlier on the spirit lies,
Than tired eyelids upon tired eyes.
Alfred Lord Tennyson
I miss and think of you often. And in your troubles you have become my strength and inspiration. And right at a time where I hoped I could be all this for you, you turned it around and became it for me. My quiet hero. My sleeping giant. Your path has touched us all in so many gentle, friendly, honest ways. It’s a path that will remain with all us to share and walk. And hopefully we will be able to walk it with as much grace and kindness as you.
Love you forever Jerry and we will meet again.
Thank you,
Doug

You are often the topic of good community conversation dear Jerry Paquette,
I so thank you for this
A warm wave of energy coming your way
with a bright yellow sunshine kiss
You add fuel to my fire, life with desire
Embers of hope, a dream can be lived and life can indeed be a dream to a sweet heart
Thank you for sharing your sweet heart with us, inspire me you do and no doubt always will!
Your energy has fed many, likely even taught a few folks to fish; maybe walkin slow with a bamboo pole an’ a smile.
always with gratitude, love & laughter,
for now, for then, for ever after,
Pam

Hey Jerry,
I found out about your situation from Ken when we saw him and Heather at the church in Lanztville in February. I was very shocked and saddened….I sent an e-mail to your Rain Coast address, but I’m not sure you got it. Thankfully I found this address on Donna’s website….
Basically, I want to let you know that your support and friendship have been huge to me. Thanks for the work you have steered my way, and also for the laid back, encouraging environment you created in your studio….I have nothing but fond memories of working with you.
I also remember one time I saw you, with my daughter, playing guitar in a TD branch. It was very cool because I couldn’t imagine that a musician as talented as you would play a bank gig! I was really impressed by your “Hey man, how’s it going” attitude. Thanks Jerry, Nick Hornbuckle

Hi Jerry,
Glad to hear you’ve had some improvement and were able to get home. I think about you everyday and miss those good times making music together last year. I keep you in my prayers and lift you up.
Keep your chin up,
Glen (Foster)
